'It seems that art is the only arena in which differences are tolerated, at least in central Europe and in what I know of Northern America...I don't think it even exists in politics anymore...” —Jeanne-Salome Rochat
Jeanne-Salome Rochat—a creature of navy blue eyes and long dark waves, dancer, art producer, and publisher—surges her way through this world leaving a trail of flames as a transient in hunger of constant inspiration and stimulation to create, collaborate and self growth.
Born to Protestant pastors in the French quarters in Switzerland, her family moved constantly between parish posts thus created a natural nomad. Now, JSR lives between Berlin, Paris, London, and Geneva, connecting and creating. Founder and Creative Director of one of the most beautiful and innovative magazines in the world (literally) and also publisher and director of that celebrates the body alternatively, representing tattoo culture and body modification.
Jeanne-Salome studied ballet at 15, infatuated with lines and control. She would show up with fake braces and inappropriate attire that got her in trouble constantly yet she became lead in the school production then left as she no longer desired to be there and applied to art school. Her foundation in body movement bled into the arts and has built a small empire and a following as a leader and manifesting, collaborating with worldly artists forging into the future creating art and publications like no other.
