Ali Michael is an internet princess. So when we started brainstorming how to style her for Halloween, a mish-mash of everything vaguely related to her feed was the only thing that felt natural. Luckily, when we presented her with Ammerman Schlosberg's , she confided in us that she'd already told her boyfriend the outfit was on her wish list. They always did say great minds think alike...
Carolina Dali, makeup : “Both hair and makeup were meant to channel an anime/cyber goth/FKA twigs vibe. I wanted the look to be playful and beautiful with a dark element. we kept the skin clean and glowing, using and , with . Then, we evened out her skintone with a mix of and , , and .

Neil Grupp, hair : “The hair piece we used for this look was just brilliant. Lena Ott used permanent markers to make the color look almost like confetti cake. Then we had Ali cut her own bangs to show that it is something a girl or boy can do at home. I incorporated Ali's dark blonde/light brown hair into the piece so it had a bit of believability. Then we just sprinkled the hair with to give it texture and a matte like finish to contrast with the shiny color in the front. To recreate, all you need is an extension hair piece, some bobby pins to secure it in your hair, a pair of kitchen scissors, and a bunch of Sharpie markers. Have a fun and make it a hair party.”
